About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Operations Manager to take on an important leadership role for our Interior BC region. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations – Canadian Utilities and based in either Kelowna or Kamloops, you will:
  • Lead regional operations by ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance
  • Lead and direct regional operations staff by making key hires, training, developing, and providing mentorship
  • Be a key contributor in business development by building relationships with new and existing clients and identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
  • Use your expertise to find solutions on improving operational efficiencies while minimizing operational risks
  • Participate in annual budgeting, by forecasting data and providing financial reports for the region
  • Perform other related duties as required
Who You Are
  • You have 8 to 10 years of experience working in a similar or related field and possess transferrable skills that will enable you to lead and mentor the team and learn any specific tasks for the job
  • You are a proven leader in operations with 3-5 years of work experience in an operations management position
  • You have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or equivalent
  • You are comfortable with occasional travel to work sites across the region
